Drive to the Jinshanling Great Wall (2 hours)
The adventure begins gently at Jinshanling Great Wall where you will have about 1 hour take great photos at the best point leading by your guide. Then walk west to Gubeikou Great Wall.
You will lead by a detour since there is the military captures a part of the wall. After 1.5-hours’ walk to get to the Gubeikou Great Wall.
Gubeikou is a section of the wall not rebuilt at all. The wall hasn’t been rebuilt for over 400 years. But most of the towers are still exits. This is a great place to enjoy the wild Great Wall. The wall on the mountain is like a curled-up dragon. (In Chinese it is called Panlong) So this part of the Great Wall is also called Panlongshan Great Wall.
Your drier will bring the picnic box, wait for you at a Great Wall tower which has a perfect view. You will enjoy the Great Wall and have your picnic on the top of the Wall. (We usually bring a bottle of win to our clients, if you don’t want any alcohol, please let us know before)
After the picnic, you will walk around the Gubeikou Great Wall and finish the hike at the foot of Gubeikou.
Drive back to your hotel at about 6:30 pm.
